Automatic product price change alerts
Price Watch is for one product page you already care about. It detects plausible public prices, lets you confirm the correct price when a page contains several candidates, then stores that selected source as the baseline.
What happens when the price changes?
When a later successful page fetch returns a different selected price, the alert can show the old and new values and the percentage change when the currency is unchanged. A currency change is treated as an event rather than converted using an exchange rate.
What Price Watch does not do
It does not compare every retailer, execute a headless browser, bypass anti-bot protection, choose variants for you or guarantee support for every ecommerce platform. That narrow scope keeps the tool predictable and privacy-conscious.
